Camp staff and campers enjoying time at camp

Working at camp means being part of a close-knit team that helps create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for every camper. Each day may bring new activities, busy schedules, and plenty of chances to encourage, teach, and care for others. You’ll work alongside fellow staff, spend time outdoors, and help make camp feel like a home away from home. Our mission is to reach young people with the gospel and to train young adults for future Christian service.

If you’re staying for the weekend, we’re near Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Our recreation center also has bowling, an indoor climbing wall, and a fitness gym. Attending a local church service is expected.

Camp Positions

Lodging and meals are provided during your time at camp. Specific duties and schedules vary by role. While Youth Haven is a volunteer-run ministry, we provide honorariums based on the position of service ($100 per week to $300 per week, depending on role and grade level). You are also welcome to fundraise for additional funds.
